The power of simplicity. That’s how I want to name this photo. Sometimes photographers want to show the beauty of the subject or the drama of incredible emotions. The better way to do it is to create a photo with a clear message and it can be as effective as possible; its composition, colors, subject matter, and lighting. I always believed that simplicity was the root of all goodness in photography. This portrait is just WOW! I absolutely love the main idea and there are power and elegance in simplicity, it makes it stand out Great job!
Such a stand-out image! What I love about photography is the fact that we don't need much in order to create eye-catching, innovative and memorable images. M&K Slowinski gave us a perfect example by combining only two elements together - creativity & minimalism. By doing it, they managed to bring the subject perfectly into focus and center of our attention, there's nothing to distract us from beautiful colors and expressive look of the model. Everything is so well done here, amazing job Slowinski!
One more incredible month behind us with an overwhelming amount of high-quality child photography. All submitted photographs from MK Slowinski are the most beautiful mix of great communication with model/s, lighting, composition, props and creative neatness which makes MK Slowinski photographs recognizable in the sea of great child portraiture. But the winning portrait has one more thing that is not so easy to achieve and I can see it puts them on the path of potential TREND-SETTERS. Photography is a highly popular and competitive market. When you create a photograph that is so memorable and effective, so much that many have the urge to reproduce it, then you know you have created the winning photo. In this one, particularly, I love it's not over the top and it can easily be described as a form of minimalism but one thing is sure: we will all remember this portrait for a long, long time and we can expect it to be reproduced by many other photographers. I think it also sends a beautiful message to all photographers: be playful and creative. Explore your right hemisphere of the brain. It doesn't have to be expensive and complicated.
